I remember an Indian prophet once said, "do not rest until you are crowned"

What he means by "do not rest" here is not to pause, or get tired or stop praying

Until you see the fulfillment of His promises.

To "watch" is to ask God what to pray,

To "pray" is to get into intercession, 

And to "contend" is to battle it out to God,

remininding Him of His promises by knowing His words.

In 1 Thesalonians 5:17 he said, "pray unceasingly". Why? 

Because it is His will for us to experience the fulfillment of His promises. 

So let us watch, pray, contend and don't stop.
