Caramel's day

It's a happy day.

It's my friend, Caramel's birthday today!

And our much awaited hard-to-set-date has finally happened. haha!!

Though not the way we planned, because the rain poured out, still we've had a lot of fun! :D

My first LOOKBOOK post

I've been longing to have a LOOKBOOK account ever-since. I love dressing up everywhere I go, in whatever occassion, and so
I thought of having a compilation of my favorite looks here online.
Me and my friend caramel made a tumblr account that we named: Hunny&Caramel. We do weekly themed fashion shoots and post it there. But unfortunately, we weren't able to update it for almost a year now. Haha!!! And then I decided to make one for my own but in chictopia. And then another one here at blogger. And then, at FashionSalade.  And now, finally, at LOOKBOOK!!! :D

My Themed Shoot

Burlesque

Last Saturday, April 16, 2011, I joined an openshoot with a theme of Burlesque. Inspired by Christina Aguilera's movie, Burlesque. 

I've had a lot of fun during the shoot! The photographer was Khalel Zantillan, Paris Garcia did my hair and make up and I really love it! Renz Pangilinan did the styling, and the Corset that I wore is REALLY nice. It's by Jerry Ocampo and I've found out that it actually costs Php70,000. Gee, that's a loooooooota money! 

I don't have the copy of the picture yet but i will surely upoad it once I receive it. Anyhoo, here is the video of the shoot. You'll see me in 01:08. :P

Sunday-FUNday! <:D

Sunday is my favorite day of the week! For some, Sunday is their time to have more sleep because they were so tired of their 5/6 days of work. But for me, it's the day wherein I am going to wake up early in the morning to take a bath and pick the best outfit that I'm going to wear in church. Because Sunday is the Lord's day. It is the time wherein I will meet with Him in worship together with my family and friends. Our Sunday service is from 7:30am -9:30am. but usually, we finish the service at around 10:30am. Although we leave the church at around 12nn-1pm because our parents usually have meetings after the service. And then we'll eat lunch all together and then go for more fellowship! I <3 fellowships! :)

We've had food trip at California Berry, Big City, and MexiCali. 

we ate sausages, fries, onion rings, popcorn, yogurt, pasta, pasta, and moooooore pasta! Boy we're full! (BUUUUUUUURPPP!!!)

Boho love

I've always loved dressing up, wearing whatever I feel like. And boho style is something that I am so in to. "Boho" is short for Bohemian, a native in Bohemia. I did a little research about it and I've learned that bohemian is also a person with artistic or literary interests who disregards conventional standards of behavior. And that boho fashion is considered as a state of mind rather than "just a fashion trend that will fade in time". I bet the people there are very stylish! <3

 

 This is my boho style dress. I got this from a thrift store in Cubao 

for only P125. Fab find right? :) 

I paired it with this lovely lovebirds connector ring.

Dump-it-all

I love big bags. It's because every time I'm in a hurry, I usually forget lots of things, my phone, my wallet, my hanky, anything! But with big bags, you can literally just dump everything in and you'd still look neat.

I love wearing Jumpsuits. It's so comfortable and yet so elegant looking. I usually pair it with black pumps. but since I don't have a car yet and I'll need a lot of walking to go to work, I just borrowed these peep-toe shoes from my mom (good thing we have the same size!). And because I'll wear it in office, I have to put on a blazer.

I don't feel like dressing up today so I just put on these gray jeans with this vintage looking top I got from a thrift store, and this tawny heels with gold studs; which is one of my favorite pair from my shoe collection.

Friday 03.25.11

Summer is definitely here! I'm so loving these shades that I got from a department store for only P250 (woot! woot!) <3 

This red cropped cardigan and blue denim-like skirt both from a thrift store. White tee is an online buy and i just painted it. Crocs for my flats and Genevieve for the fedora hat.

sigh.. it's really hard to let go of something really precious to you. I love shoes, I really do. I even made it as a topic for my thesis back in college. I have less than 30 pairs. But of course I can't wear it all at the same time so unfortunately, some of it are starting to be depleted.

Surprise! Surprise!

It's my favorite nephew's birthday today! And his parents planned a surprise party for him. oh how I love surprises! And children parties too! ..with all those loot bags, mascots and balloons, it's so much fun! :D
